Supporting EveryLibrary Through the SpringyCamp Give Back

Every year, SpringyCamp brings library folks together for a packed lineup of idea-sharing, inspiration, and lots of “Ooh, I want to try that!” moments. And this year, our community did something extra special: you helped us give back to an organization doing crucial work for libraries across the country.

As part of our Give Back campaign, Springshare pledged to donate $1 to EveryLibrary for every unique attendee who joined SpringyCamp live. Thanks to record-breaking attendance across three days of camp (seriously – you all showed up!), we’re excited to share that we’re donating $1,000 to EveryLibrary.

During SpringyCamp, we were thrilled to welcome EveryLibrary’s John Chrastka and Ashley Stewart as our keynote speakers. John summed it up perfectly when he said, "SpringyCamp brings together some of the most creative and committed people from across the library world.” We couldn’t agree more. His message about connecting libraries with their communities – and the impact collaboration can have – resonated with this year’s attendees.

Springshare's VP of Marketing, Talia Richards-Resendes, shared her gratitude as well: “SpringyCamp has always been about bringing library professionals together to learn, share, and inspire one another. This year, we’re proud that our community showed up in a big way and helped us give back.”

EveryLibrary's Impact

EveryLibrary is the first and only national political action committee dedicated to building voter support for libraries. They help public, school, and academic libraries secure funding at the ballot box and support grassroots groups fighting book bans, political interference, and even threats of closure. Their work protects access for everyone.
