This real-time synchronization allows libraries to dynamically display live event listings from LibCal directly on Bibliotheca’s selfCheck kiosks and digital signage. Whether patrons are checking out a book or glancing at a screen in the lobby, they’ll see the most up-to-date event information, no manual updates required.
Real-Time Event Visibility, Where It Matters Most
With this integration, there's no need for manual updates or duplicated work. Populate your LibCal calendar once, and those events will automatically appear on quickConnect-powered selfChecks.
Patrons can:- Browse a live feed of upcoming programs
- View detailed event information
- Print or email event details directly from the selfCheck station
It’s a seamless experience that puts your library’s programming front and center – right where your patrons are already engaging with your services.
And because the display is customizable, libraries can control what events appear on each kiosk. For example, a selfCheck in the children's room can be set to show only upcoming children’s programs, keeping event promotion relevant and localized.
