SpringyCamp for Public Libraries Recap

Our third annual SpringyCamp for Public Libraries brought library creativity to the virtual campsite! Our guest presenters shared real-world strategies for expanding digital services, trying new outreach approaches, and putting automation to work. Together, we explored how public libraries are strengthening patron services and building connections in their communities, all while giving back – every live attendee added $1 to our donation to the Sustainable Libraries Initiative.

🎨 Springy Kirsten introduced us to the Personalized Patron Portal, a centralized, easy-to-use dashboard built around your patrons' needs.

✅ Springy Hannah showed us how library card sign-up and renewals can be simplified with Patron Verify & Renew.

👩‍🔧 Springy Natalie took us on a tour of Careershift, showing how career services can be part of the library without putting an extra burden on staff. 

👻 Springy Corinne told us a Spooky Story around the campfire about a toy lost in the library overnight.

Guest and Partner Presentations

⚠️ Marion County Public Library System showed how they implemented Incident & Issue Tracking to streamline their procedures for better outcomes. 

🖥️ Berwyn Public Library shared the journey they took with Springshare's Consulting Team to design an attractive, accessible website that's easy to update using LibSites.

☕ Worcester Public Library inspired everyone with outreach ideas using LibGuides to promote collections and services outside the building. 

📨 Cuyahoga County Public Library shared how they improved their new patron experience by leveraging Patron Point to create a set-it-and-forget-it email campaign. 

💬 Texas Info 24/7 brought the collaborative spirit by showcasing how two library networks support each other with LibAnswers and the 24/7 Chat Co-Op. 

📆 Denver Public Library wowed attendees with their creative CSS changes in LibCal using a customer-centered perspective and a lot of feedback.

💻 Eric Keith took us on a tour of what our new partnership means for SirsiDynix and Springshare customers.
