When practitioners and researchers in the field of Community Wealth Building identified a need for a central landing page for their emerging area of study, they initially struggled to find a neutral and comprehensive place to do so. Librarian Franklin Ofsthun, two subject experts, and a research assistant from The Universities at Shady Grove decided to conduct a scoping review and disseminate the results through a LibGuide.
Law & Order: Bring Order to Practice Resources with LibApps
Learn how Lee Heckle and fellow librarians from Nelson Mullins reimagined LibGuides for a law firm environment, creating focused guides that function as trusted practice area “cheat sheets” for attorneys. Instead of trying to include everything, these guides highlight key databases, firm-specific access notes, current awareness tools, and training resources.
