Code Release: New Features Coming Your Way!

Happy Spring! The rain is falling, the crocuses have popped out of the ground, and we have a new bouquet of fresh features to share. These features will be live in all regions by the end of the day on Friday, April 10, 2026.

LibAnswers

• You can now paste images into LibAnswers tickets! Images you paste in will be added as inline images in the body of the ticket reply, and will display in your patron's email client without their needing to click on an attachment. This makes it even easier to share step by step walkthroughs of a process right in a patron's email.

• Even better, you can also paste images into macros! If you have a single or multi step process that you frequently need to walk patrons through, you can add images to help support that process inline as part of the macro, for even easier communication.

• The “Open Tickets” custom email alert will now include tickets that are in the “Pending” state, in addition to the “Open” state, to help you keep track of tickets where the patron needs to get back to you.

• You can now create a custom email alert that triggers based on ticket tags. Head to Admin > Queues > Edit Queue > Notifications > Customized Alerts to create and edit customized alerts.

LibSites

• LibSites horizontal navigation menus now include an option to add a mega menu! This is a menu item that, when opened, can include 2-4 columns of menu options, each of which can include headings, dividing lines, links, and icons. To create a mega menu, head to Websites > Edit Website > Header, Site Navigation & Custom JS/CSS > Add Navigation > Horizontal Navigation.

• You can now add bootstrap 5 icons to navigation items, for a visual indicator of each link’s purpose. Head to Websites > Edit Website > Header, Site Navigation & Custom JS/CSS > Add/Edit Navigation to add icons.

• We’ve added a light rich-text editor to Carousel components, which makes it easy to bold/italicize/add links to the descriptions of each slide.

LibWizard

• Patrons can now save their progress on forms, surveys, quizzes and tutorials! Head to Admin > System Settings > Advanced > Save Progress to enable the option for patrons to save their progress.

• You can now generate a print-friendly PDF of any form, survey, quiz or tutorial! Head to the edit asset screen, then select Preview > Print to PDF to generate an offline-friendly version of your LibWizard content.
