SpringyCamp for Public Libraries Recap
By Kelsey on October 7, 2025
Our second annual SpringyCamp for Public Libraries was truly memorable – a gathering where inspiration, innovation, and practical solutions took center stage. Throughout the event, our distinguished guest presenters joined us at the virtual campfire with real-world strategies on advocacy, creative outreach, enhancing equitable access, and so much more. Together we explored how libraries are leveling up services and building stronger connections in their communities, all while giving back – every live attendee added $1 to our donation to EveryLibrary.

📣 Our day started with a keynote presentation by John Chrastka from EveryLibrary. He shared insights on how public libraries can ask for funds for future projects by promoting successful past projects. Whether you're looking to fund a project or build community support, this presentation is one you'll be coming back to again and again.
📅 Mason Humphrey showed us how LibCal's integration with Bibliotheca's selfCheck kiosks lets your patrons know what events are happening at your library.
Springshare Presentations
🌐 Springy Kirsten took us on a tour of LibSites with Personalized Patron Portal, showcasing how easy website building can be.
⚠️ Springy Hannah introduced us to the coming-soon Springshare tool designed to help libraries manage and triage issues – Incident Reporting.
