These releases are on their way to you over the next two weeks. The LibCal and LibConnect Pro releases will be live in all regions by the end of the day on Friday October 31, 2025. The LibGuides and LibWizard releases will be live in all regions by the end of the day on Friday, November 7, 2025.

LibCal

  • LibMaps: We’ve improved the scroll behavior on public map pages – now, the wheel scroll will remain on scrolling the page only, unless you click on the map image container.

  • LibMaps: We’ve fixed a large number of accessibility issues on the public and admin pages of LibMaps (and our VPAT will be available soon!).

  • LibMaps: We've modified the "Check for Range Overlap" feature to accommodate for cutter date/volume contained in the call number range. Head to LibMaps > Select a Location > Test Searches to run the range overlap check.

LibConnect Pro

  • We’ve added initial support for integrating LibConnect Pro with Ex Libris Alma!

  • We're introducing Scheduled Communications, a clearer way to manage one-time email and SMS sends (formerly “Emails/SMS”). Now, you can:
    • Create, schedule, and send Email and SMS messages directly to your audience segments.
    • Distinguish these from automated user journeys for a simpler, more intuitive workflow.

  • Users can now unsubscribe from specific audience segments instead of all communications at once to prevent users from accidentally unsubscribe from all library messages. They can access the full Email Preference Center to manage all subscriptions.

LibGuides

  • Managing database alerts just got simpler! From the New A-Z Databases - Alerts & Announcements page, you can now:
    • Create vendor-specific and multi-database alerts, saving time when multiple databases are affected by the same issue.
    • Schedule alerts in advance with start and expiration dates. No need to manually remove them once resolved - the system will do it for you automatically.

  • We’re introducing Bootstrap 5 previews for your site’s public content. You can access this page from the Admin - Bootstrap 5 Transition Guide menu item in the orange navbar and from the System Setting - Bootstrap 5 Transition Guide menu item in new interface's sidebar. These previews allow you to see how your public pages will look and behave in Bootstrap 5 before making the switch. The Bootstrap 5 preview pages also load jQuery 3.7.1, which brings performance and security improvements.

LibWizard

  • You can now define conditional logic in numeric and ratings fields based on whether a patron's response was less than, less than or equal, greater than, or greater than or equal to a number/rating that you define. To see this in action, head to the editor view for a form/survey/etc, select Field Rules, and set a field rule for a number or rating type field.

  • We've also added the ability to add conditional logic when the "other" option has been selected, to help with branching logic.

  • We’ve fixed a bunch of bugs and made accessibility improvements! Check out the Lounge post for details.
