If you've ever sent along a feature request during a support interaction or through the Lounge, you know that we take our users' needs very seriously. So seriously that our tools have evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of the library community. Lately, we've noticed our public library users have grown; there are around 1,100 public libraries using Springy Tools around the world! We've also noticed that our public library users are looking for software solutions for a slew of new and creative initiatives like managing Library of Things collections or creating digital art shows.
We admire your innovation, and it has inspired us to try something new, too! Springshare is kicking off the new year by launching a dedicated Public Library Division! With this new division, Springshare’s public library clients should expect to see the industry-leading training, support, and communication that we are known for, with a new eye for library type.
Exciting Things Ahead
What exactly will this mean for Springshare customers? You'll get more of everything you already know and love about our company, but with a public library twist.
- SpringyNews: Public - Starting this month, we'll be publishing a monthly newsletter, especially for our public library customers! Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to keep up-to-date about Springshare news.
- Dedicated Training - Our training team hosts live training sessions about everything from basic tool functionality to advanced CSS customization. We'll be adding additional sessions that are specifically designed for public libraries and their unique needs.
- Product Demos and Sneak Peeks - We're always adding new features and functionality to our Springy tools! We'll be adding additional demos that use public library use cases - keep an eye on our product demo calendar for future dates.
SpringyCamp for Public Libraries
SpringyCamp is a user conference with a camp-like vibe designed to be fun and informative. We'll be adding an additional session this year and - you guessed it - all the user presentations will be for and by public library staff. Curious about SpringyCamp? We're looking forward to meeting new and existing public library customers at conferences in 2024 and are especially excited to be headed to Columbus, Ohio for PLA from April 3 - 5. If you're attending and doing something cool with Springshare tools, submit a presentation proposal below!
