With awards season underway, those of us working in the library industry like to keep our eyes on the LibraryWorks Modern Library Awards (MLAs). And we are pleased to share that our very own Patron Point has just received the platinum award for 2025! This is especially exciting news for us because it marks the 5th consecutive year that we have been honored with this accolade.
The MLAs were created as a way to recognize the top products and services in the library industry. They are trusted by library professionals because of its unbiased format. This year, potential products were sent to the LibraryWorks database of over 90,000 librarians for review. Only customers with experience using these tools in their facilities were allowed to judge them, ensuring that they are being assessed fairly.
Patron Point scored 9.05/10 after being judged on multiple attributes including functionality, satisfaction and quality. Notably, we scored highest in the category related to quality of service - something we take a lot of personal pride in. One judge shared:
