Springshare Announces LibPost Outreach Postcards

Welcome New Residents to the Community with a Postcard from the Library

MIAMI (March 29, 2024)—Springshare is thrilled to announce a new product that uses demographic data to identify new residents in a library’s service area and welcome them to the community with a postcard from the library.

"Community outreach is at the core of what we do here at Springshare. LibPost offers an exciting new way for libraries to reach potential patrons and connect them with library resources, " said Ian Downie, President of Springshare’s Public Library Division. “I am particularly excited about how this service works alongside Patron Point, our marketing and automation platform.”

LibPost offers a simple and effective service from start to finish:

  • Subscribers can create their own postcard or use Springshare’s design service.
  • Postcards are automatically sent to all new residents in the library’s service area on a quarterly basis.
  • Residents are prompted to sign up for a library card and learn more about programs and services using a QR code or link to the library website printed on each postcard.

Springshare users who subscribe to both Patron Point and LibPost can track how many new residents sign up for library cards as a result of their postcard campaign, enjoy a seamless library card registration process, and send branded welcome emails.

LibPost will be launched at the Public Library Association Conference in Columbus, Ohio next week. Visitors at Springhare’s booth (#501) are invited to discuss LibPost with the Springhare team and pick up an exclusive promo code for the new service.
