LibCal, LibAnswers, LibGuides, and LibStaffer Features Coming Your Way!

LibCal

• Events: We've added the ability to multi-select the following fields in the Event Explorer: Event Organizer; Audience; Internal Tags; Booking Form; Presenter; Category; Location; and Campus. Head to Events>Calendar List>Event Explorer to make use of the new multi-select functionality.

• LibMaps: We’ve added an easy “Print” feature for maps shown in ILS searches, and updated the print view so it now contains item title, call number, and collection info.

• LibMaps: We've significantly improved the accessibility of map images. It's now possible to keyboard navigate throughout all hotspots in a given map, open/close each hotspot's modal without losing focus order, and all aria tags are now rendering as they should. LibAnswers

• You can now unsend ticket replies when answering tickets on the ticket answer page! You will have up to 6 seconds after sending a reply to revoke the sent message, by clicking the “Undo Send” button shown in the success alert in the bottom left corner of your browser window.

• FAQs can now support URL Redirects! This makes it possible to add a searchable FAQ result in LibAnswers that points to information outside of LibAnswers. For example, if your collection development policy lives in LibGuides, but you want to add a question in LibAnswers for “What is the library’s collection development policy,” the FAQ result can now point directly to the relevant URL in LibGuides. To add a redirect, head to the FAQs Knowledge Base > Edit FAQ and select the pencil icon next to the Public URL in the FAQ metadata toolbar.

• Macros can now be reassigned to other account holders.

LibGuides

• You can now download your monthly and daily A-Z statistics across multiple categories: Databases, Assets, Page Views, Lists, Sessions, and Searches. Each exported file includes a separate sheet for each stats category.

• We’ve added new permissions and access controls to help you better manage who can edit and view A-Z Lists, including a new “Manage AZ Resources” user-level permission.

• You can now reorder filtering options on A-Z Databases > A-Z Public Page > Settings > Main Content and A-Z Resources > Lists > Settings > Main Content

LibStaffer

• The schedule view has been updated to always display the three available views - Calendar, Staff Timeline and Shift Timeline.

• We've added an option to make the Give Up Shift "Note/Email Message" required. Head to Admin>Schedule Settings>Give Up Shifts to set if staff are required to provide a note when before giving up a shift.
