MIAMI (July 5, 2024) - Springshare is thrilled to announce that Danbury Public Library, based in Danbury, Connecticut, is the first to implement the company’s new mover postcard service, LibPost. With this initiative, Danbury Library will send quarterly postcards inviting new residents to visit the library and make use of their resources.
“Our library strives to be a welcoming and responsive institution,” said Katie Pearson, Director of Danbury Library. “We are so excited that LibPost will allow us to reach out to all new community members and support our mission of building lasting community connections by fostering creativity, discovery and personal growth.”
Danbury Library will use the integration between LibPost and Patron Point to further strengthen their outreach efforts. Springshare users who subscribe to both Patron Point and LibPost can offer new residents a seamless library card registration process, track how many new library card sign-ups result from the postcard campaign, and send branded welcome emails.
In launching this initiative, Danbury Library will support one of their six major strategic planning goals - extending library services to ensure that all City residents can use and enjoy library resources.
