Patron Point Implemented by Public Libraries

MIAMI, FL (March 15, 2024) - Springshare is thrilled to announce that the Seminole County Public Library System, the Amarillo Public Library, and the Montgomery County Department of Public Libraries have implemented the Patron Point engagement and automation platform to support their institutional goals and marketing efforts.

Seminole County Public Library System in Sanford, Florida will use the Patron Point email marketing platform to support their goals to foster and improve new and innovative ways of involving the library in the everyday life of the community. Seminole County Public Library System (serving 470,000 residents in Seminole County) plans to use Patron Point email campaigns to keep their patrons better informed about services and programs and promote the use of their libraries. They know that a community is a better place to live with a first-rate library. In their aim to locate specific resources, help navigate databases for new skill development, and assist children with literacy programs, the talented staff at Seminole County Public Library are available to all members of the community.

Amarillo Public Library in Amarillo, Texas will use Springshare’s Patron Point platform to efficiently communicate crucial messages to their patrons across all five locations. By utilizing targeted segments of their patron base, the library aims to provide more personalized updates, news, and event information to the 200,000+ residents of Amarillo. With a vast collection of over 500,000 resources and materials, the library circulates more than 1.5 million items annually, showcasing their commitment to serving the community.

Montgomery County Department of Public Libraries in Rockville, Maryland will implement library card address verification via Springshare’s Patron Point platform. Immediate card issuance will allow patrons to begin using the library sooner while saving staff time and processing costs. MCPL patrons have access to 22 branch locations across Rockville and Montogomery County. With 10 million items in their collection, the library system circulates roughly 11.4 million items annually including an ever-expanding catalog of digital materials.
