DUBLIN, OH (August 4, 2023) - Patron Point announced today that Orion Township Public Library (OTPL) based in Lake Orion, Michigan, has chosen our patron engagement platform to support its mission to serve and engage a thriving community of lifelong learners.
The library’s history goes back to 1926 when it was first formed by the Lake Orion Women’s Club. Since then, OTPL has outgrown its home two times and currently offers 29,000 square feet of space and a collection of more than 130,000 items. Library patrons can enjoy a range of physical and electronic materials as well as business resources, interlibrary loans, and a library of things to borrow from.
Offering much more than a place to learn, Orion Township Public Library is a place to engage and experience. A robust events calendar includes everything from storytimes, playtimes, reading groups, teen nights, writing workshops, fitness classes, volunteer opportunities, and more.
Other features to enable growth and learning are a makerspace, meeting and study rooms, homework help, reading challenges, genealogy research assistance and tech help for seniors.
