MIAMI (June 19, 2018) - We are pleased to announce integration between Springshare’s LibCal and BiblioEvents by BiblioCommons. Now, BiblioEvents users can reserve a LibCal Space/Room when creating an event from the BiblioEvents admin interface. This integration allows libraries to manage and book spaces during the BiblioEvents creation process while simultaneously allowing unused spaces/rooms to be booked by patrons.
“We love what our friends at BiblioCommons are doing with their platform so we jumped at the opportunity to benefit our common clients by providing tighter integration between our two products. The ability to seamlessly book library spaces via LibCal when creating a BiblioEvent helps reduce workflow friction for library staff and it helps maximize the use of library spaces by patrons. We look forward to further collaboration projects between our two companies”, said CEO & Springshare Founder Slaven Zivkovic.
The team at BiblioCommons stated, “We were excited to work with the team at Springshare to allow libraries to benefit from an integrated events and room reservation module without us needing to build the full module ourselves. We have always wanted to create and encourage more integration across vendor offerings and working with Springshare on this was a great opportunity to help libraries leverage current services without needing to reinvent the wheel”.
To see this integration in action, a webinar recording is available here: LibCal / BiblioEvents Integration. For more information, please contact Springshare at info@springshare.com, BiblioCommons at info@bibliocommons.com.
