Notes from the Trail: SpringyCamp for All Libraries Recap

Written by Kirsten | December 2, 2025

SpringyCamp for All Libraries returned this year with two days of inspiration, hands-on learning, and a whole lot of campfire camaraderie. Our presenters led us through thoughtful discussions on the heart of library work, practical sessions on everything from APIs to LibCal workflows, and fresh ideas for using Springy tools to help streamline daily operations. Together, we explored how libraries are improving services across campuses and communities. We also gave back! Springshare donated $1 to EveryLibrary for every live attendee, turning collective learning into collective impact.

She shared practical strategies for sustaining energy, setting boundaries, and finding renewed meaning and joy in serving others.

๐Ÿ’Œ Day 2 featured Cordelia Anderson, Library Marketing & Communications Consultant, with Reconnecting the Library Through Email Marketing. Cordelia explored how academic libraries can strengthen relationships, highlight impact, and engage audiences through story-driven emails. Attendees walked away with actionable tips for crafting messages that connect across departments, communities, and user groups โ€“ making every email count.
