Public Libraries Implement Patron Point to Support Community Engagement 

MIAMI, FL (May 31, 2024) - Today, Springshare announces that the Manatee County Public Library System and the New Haven Free Public Library have selected the Patron Point engagement and automation platform to showcase library resources and support community engagement.  Manatee County Public Library System in Bradenton, Florida will use Patron Point to enhance communication with patrons and showcase the extensive range of services and collections available at MCPL. With over 5 million items circulated annually, the library is a true hub for fostering creativity and encouraging lifelong learning in the community. 

New Haven Free Public Library in New Haven, Connecticut will use Patron Point to support their mission of fostering lifelong learning, inspiring curiosity, and building community through shared access to resources, experiences, and opportunities. NHFPL will use Patron Point to automate their online card registrations for faster and more efficient processing. The library also looks forward to increasing community engagement by employing a more focused communication strategy via Patron Point's enhanced features. NHFPL serves over 138,000 city residents and welcomes more than 800,000 visitors annually through their front doors and digital portals.
