Updates from the Springshare Lounge

The Springshare Lounge is the place to be! Why? First of all, the Lounge gives Springshare users like you an online community space to collaborate, ask questions, and help out other customers. But that's not all - the Lounge is also where we connect with you to share information, including product Release Notes with the latest details about new and improved features. And the best part? We're making it easier for all Springshare users to join and interact in the Lounge!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes to How You Access the Lounge

On Monday, March 11 - that's one week from today - we're switching to seamless authentication between your Springshare sites and the Lounge. This means you'll no longer need a separate account to sign into the Springshare Lounge!

Next steps:

• Already a member of the Lounge? Make sure your Lounge account uses the same email address that you use to sign into your Springshare/LibApps sites. Then, if you're logged into your LibApps account, you'll be automatically logged into the Lounge. More details in this post on the Lounge!
• New to the Lounge? Sign into your LibApps account - this is the login you use for your LibGuides, LibAnswers, LibCal, or other Springy tool - then hop on over to the Lounge on or after March 11, and an account will automatically be created for you.
• New to LibApps and new to the Lounge? Patron Point subscribers, this is for you! If you subscribe to Patron Point and no other Springy tools, keep an eye out for an email on March 11! We're creating LibApps accounts for you, so all you'll have to do is set your password, and then you can check out the Lounge, too!

Note: This change on our end will not affect login or SSO for your LibApps systems in any way and will not allow anyone access to your systems who doesn't already have access.

Tip: We recommend you bookmark our Support landing page as an easy way to access all of our resources for learning and connecting with other Springshare users! Starting March 11, you'll also need to be logged in to view the Ask (documentation) site or register for a live Training webinar.

ICYMI: Looking Back at 2023

Last December, our Springy Lounge Team gathered some highlights from the year. This 2023 Year in Review post revealed that:

• The new LibGuides A-Z Databases List was the hot topic for our most viewed/commented posts.
• 2023 saw the largest number of discussions, comments, new users, and searches in the Springshare Lounge since its relaunch in Fall 2020.
• Community members contributed over 450 feature requests idea posts and almost 3000 upvotes, giving us invaluable insights into what you want to see next in your Springy products.

From Request to Reality

Not only is the Lounge a place to ask questions, share ideas, and read about the latest features, it's also where Springshare users can go to make feature requests! Here, you can post a request, review those made by other users, upvote and comment on any features you're interested in, and track the status of a request. The Springshare Team reviews all posts in each feature request product category to see what features are requested the most!
