The last time Springshare attended ACRL was in 2019! We can't believe it's been four years (it feels both longer and shorter than 4 years, doesn't it?!) since we've see all your faces. And guess what? We're looking for guest presenters at the Springshare Booth #711.
Learning From Each Other
The whole point of attending conferences is to learn from others. To get inspired by what they're doing and see if you can replicate it at your institution. But of the hundreds of presentation proposals submitted, a conference can only select a fraction for their available time slots. Additionally, not everyone from every institution can even attend the ACRL Annual Conference. We hate to see folks left behind, so we're doing Facebook live-streamed presentations at our Springshare booth straight from the exhibit hall.
If you're attending the conference, join us at booth #711 to watch guest speakers. If you're not attending ACRL, watch selected sessions streaming live on our Facebook page! You don't need a Facebook account to watch, simply ignore the prompts to log in and enjoy the live-streaming presentations on our Facebook page.
Presenting at Springshare's Booth!
Before we get that schedule up and live - we'd like to invite you to be a guest speaker! If you're attending the ACRL Annual Conference, submit a proposal to present at Springshare's booth. Presentations are short, just 10-15 minutes in length, and can be done with 1-2 guest speakers.
We're looking for presenters who:
- Do interesting and innovative things with Springshare Tools;
- Involve patrons with content creation, analysis, or planning;
- Have embarked on a Springshare Tool redesign and want to share the process/outcome;
- Use a Springshare Tool to better inform decision-making;
- Engage and communicate with patrons in effective ways;
- .... and really anything at all!
